Salmagundi is a literary magazine published at Skidmore College. I came upon it almost by chance as J.M. Coetzee contributed an exchange a few years ago with psychoanalyst Arabella Kurtz. I now subscribe and eagerly await every issue. I especially loved their symposium on Identity, with such rich, varied contributions across disciplines. The current issue includes a symposium on Belief and Unbelief, with contributions from Marilynne Robinson, Anthony Appiah, Orlando Patterson and others. With this journal, I feel I’ve found a home.
